Cheryl Pacella DNP, HHCNS-BC, CPHQ is a home health clinical nurse specialist and quality expert. She is currently working as a consultant advising a number of home health and hospice agencies on quality initiatives. She has over 30 years’ experience and has held a number of positions ranging from nursing manager to staff educator to quality improvement manager to clinical director. Her areas of expertise include quality improvement, OASIS accuracy, Medicare billing, responding to denials and appeals, ICD-10 coding, care transitions and survey preparation. She is a graduate of Boston College and earned her Master's in Community Health and Education from Salem State College. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Regis College.
