Guy Tommasi brings more than four decades of on-the-ground expertise in private duty non-medical home care to Corcoran Consulting Group clients. His future-focused approach helps home care agencies become data-centered, value-based, service-first providers of choice for payers, clients, and their families.
Guy served for 13 years as Managing Director at Guilford, Conn.-based Lifetime Care at Home, where he led the agency to curtail operating losses, boost margins and achieve consistent profits. Under Guy’s leadership, Lifetime Care at Home was one of the first non-medical home care agencies in the country to incorporate the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Quadruple Aim Value Based Care pillars into its care coordination model. He captured millions in revenue by increasing case openings, improving operations with new scheduling, billing and payroll software, creating a team culture, and elevating employee morale.
Prior to Lifetime Care at Home, Guy was Business and Community Development Director for Wallingford, Conn.-based Masonicare, Director of Business and Strategic Development at Omni Home Health Services in Meriden, Conn., and Manager, Emergency and Trauma Center at Hartford Hospital.
A nationally recognized speaker on issues and trends related to non-medical home care, Guy has given presentations to more than two dozen organizations including the National Association for Home Care and Hospice, AGILE (Axxess, Growth, Innovation, Experience), and the Home Care Association of America. He earned his Master of Science in health care management at Rensselaer at Hartford, Hartford, Conn., and his Bachelor of Science in health education at Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven.
