Meet Jane Panneton

With nearly 30 years in healthcare, Jane Panneton brings rare credibility to healthcare M&A and exit planning because she has lived the journey most owners are still navigating.

Jane is a former home care agency owner who built, expanded through acquisition, and ultimately sold her own agency.  She understands firsthand the long hours, personal sacrifice, leadership challenges, and the responsibility that comes with ownership. 

As Principal & Managing Director of Transitions, the dedicated M&A Advisory and Ownership Transitions platform within Corcoran, Jane advises home-based care owners, and other ancillary service companies, on how to intentionally build enterprise value, evaluate and plan for exit, and ensure they achieve the best possible outcome during an acquisition or sale process. 

As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®), Jane applies the Value Acceleration Methodology™ to help owners move from reactive decision-making to strategic leadership and legacy planning.  Her message to owners is “you don’t need to know your exact exit to start building value, but you do need to build with intention”.  Intentional planning can transform not just the value of an agency, but the life of the owner behind it.

Known for her relatable, candid, and empathetic style, Jane is the voice behind “Straight Talk with Jane” where she addresses the real questions owners are often afraid to ask. 

She brings together real-world ownership experience, deep industry insights, M&A transaction expertise, and structured exit planning knowledge to give owners clarity and confidence.  She shares her knowledge freely through speaking engagements, articles, and educational series.    

Jane has a bachelor’s degree from Cabrini University in Business Communications and a Certificate in Accounting and Economics from Harvard Business School.
