Meet John Oronzo

John Oronzo brings to Corcoran Consulting Group more than two decades of transformational leadership with publicly traded and privately owned homecare operations.

Before joining the Corcoran team, Oronzo served as Vice President of Operations for Modivcare PCS Homecare, accountable for all branch-level operations in both Connecticut and New Jersey. His responsibilities at Modivcare included daily operations for more than 5,000 patients, P&L, KPI analysis and improvement, growth strategy, regulatory compliance, market expansion, M&A, creation/management of budgets and action plans, investigation, resolution, and prevention of patient-related issues.

Prior to his position at Modivcare, Oronzo was Vice President of Behavioral Health Operations for Elara Caring Home Health, helping to lead all multi-state behavioral health operations.

Before its acquisition by Elara Caring, Oronzo was Corporate Director of Human Resources and Labor Relations at National Home Health Care, leading the organization’s human resource administration in Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, and New Jersey. He also served as Director of Human Resources for New England Home Care, directing the human resource functions in all Connecticut branches.

Oronzo received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in hospitality management and a minor in accounting from the University of New Haven. He also served as a labor relations guest lecturer for over a decade at the university. He has served as a member and co-chair of the Connecticut Hospital Association Human Resources Special Interest Group, a member of the Connecticut Healthcare Human Resources Association, a Board of Directors member for the New Jersey Homecare and Hospice Association, and a Board of Directors member for the Connecticut Health Care Workers Compensation Trust. In his spare time, Oronzo is an ACE-certified personal trainer.
