Mark Appellof brings more than 25 years of hands-on marketing, sales, and community relations experience in home health, home care, and rehabilitation to Corcoran Consulting Group. As Business Development Manager, Mark serves as a readily accessible and trusted first point of contact for agency leaders seeking expert support to tackle operational, clinical, regulatory, and marketing challenges.
Mark’s outreach is informed by years of direct experience in the field—building referral pipelines, growing patient census, and forging strong relationships with physicians, discharge planners, and healthcare systems. He understands the pressures agency leaders face and excels at matching each client’s unique needs with Corcoran’s flexible, tailored consulting services. Through one-on-one conversations, presentations, and industry events, Mark helps agencies access customized support to drive performance, quality care, compliance, and growth.
Before joining Corcoran, Mark held leadership roles in business development and marketing with Connecticut-based organizations including Landmark Health, Visiting Angels, Advanced Home Health Care Agency, Visiting Nurses of the Lower Valley, The Summit at Plantsville, and Masonicare Home Health & Hospice. He has consistently demonstrated an ability to expand outreach, grow revenue, and keep agencies front and center in competitive home health and home care markets.
Mark holds a Master of Human Services Administration from Antioch University New England. He has been active in his community, serving as President and Treasurer of the Lions Club of Meriden, Conn. and on the board of the Old Saybrook, Conn. Chamber of Commerce.
