Corcoran Consulting Group Announces the Successful Acquisition of Family Care Visiting Nurse & Home Care by Honor Health Network

North Haven, Conn., December 3, 2025 – Corcoran Consulting Group (https://corcoranconsultants.com), a national Health at Home mergers and acquisitions advisory firm and provider of performance, transition, and innovation services to the home care industry, is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of Stratford, CT-based Family Care Visiting Nurses (https://familycarevn.com) by Honor Health Network (https://honorhealthnetwork.com).  

Corcoran provided sell-side representation to Family Care Visiting Nurse & Home Care Agency (FCVN), a Medicare and Medicaid certified home health agency led by COO Melissa Kurtz.  FCVN operates four locations in Connecticut, delivering a range of skilled home health and therapy services.  The company employs more than 350 staff members who serve approximately 2200 patients daily.  Corcoran guided the family throughout the sale to Honor  Health Network, an integrated system of personal and post-acute care providers with more than 60 offices and 17 brands serving communities across eight states and Washington, D.C.

The transaction was overseen by Corcoran Consulting Group’s Managing Director of Healthcare M&A, Jane Panneton.  Panneton, a veteran home care provider, was instrumental in leading the transaction to a successful conclusion.  “It was truly a team effort on both sides as this transaction had had unique complexities, which were resolved with all being pleased with the results”.
